On trend: O Bag Factory

Micol Prandelli came to America as an exchange student years ago. Now she’s back and planting her Italian roots right here in Baton Rouge. She and her husband Jacopo recently opened O Bag Factory in the Mall of Louisiana. The shop sells Italian-made customizable handbags and accessories, which are widely popular in the U.K. The Baton Rouge store is the first in America.

To get started, customers choose from a variety of sizes, colors, handles, interior cloths and more. The bags—simple, modern, lightweight and waterproof—can last from season to season. Simply switch up the accessories for an updated look. New designs and colors are launched twice yearly.
