Once you schedule a consultation, a Bassett designer will visit your home to view the space, take measurements, make suggestions and help you bring your vision to life. “The client may see something they love in the store, but it just won’t fit in their space,” says Long. “Or maybe the lighting in their home doesn’t work with a particular color. We can provide solutions and offer options.”
Another consideration is how a space is used. Will it be used as an office? A formal room perhaps? A family room? Will there be kids and dogs on this furniture? If yes, your design consultant can help you select the perfect sofa, for example, based on fabric, color, cost, stain resistance, durability. All those details make a difference.
