We get it–napkins are meant to get dirty, whether with splatters of spaghetti sauce or droplets of spilled wine. It’s literally why they exist! But after seeing these embroidered Otomi napkins at Gourmet Girls, we started thinking about things differently. Even if used as dainty decor, this style of Mexican embroidery created by the indigenous Otomi people speaks softly of summer on a set supper table.
