The primary bedroom serves as a sanctuary for rest and relaxation, so its design should reflect this purpose. A well-designed primary suite integrates furniture and décor that promotes rejuvenation while also allowing for creative expression. Kristina Petit of Kristina’s Collective Interiors understood this assignment when it came to the primary bedroom in this house, featured in our April 2024 issue.

“For the Dodson’s primary bedroom, we wanted it to be dramatic but also relaxed and peaceful,” Petit says. “They have beautiful views of the lake from the bedroom, and we wanted to bring some of the colors and calming features from nature into their bedroom from the view.”
