Empowerment. It’s a theme running through the stories of many of inRegister’s 2023 Women with a Cause honorees. The local women who were chosen for recognition this year all feel a calling to help equip others for a better life. They are shaping the narrative of cancer care, and inspiring future generations of financially sound citizens, and helping female business owners half a world away. And they aren’t doing it for fame or fortune—none of these honorees receives a salary for these long hours of work, and they are quick to shine a spotlight on others who are also doing good around them.
