THNOC to offer free advice on flood-damaged items
The Historic New Orleans Collection has teamed up with the West Baton Rouge Museum and other local institutions to host its “Restoration Roadshow” at 4 p.m. this Sunday, October 16, at the Mall of Louisiana. Museum professionals and local conservators will offer free consultations for flood-damaged belongings.
Bring in furniture, jewelry, photographs and other items, and the experts will provide advice on how to preserve them. Attendees will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis, and admission is free. The consultations will take place inside the mall near the Dillard’s entrance. Visit THNOC’s website for more details.
