Trees of Light ceremony

Celebrate the season with the Hospice of Baton Rouge at its third annual Trees of Light: A Night of Music event next Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the Old State Capitol. An evening of music, dancing and fantastic food by Heirloom Cuisine will start at 6 p.m. Rev. Greg Daigle will sing both classic and holiday songs, and a performance by Ned Fasullo and the Fabulous Big Band Orchestra will follow. Tickets are available online or by calling 767-4673.

Details on Christmas parades

The Broadmoor Residents Association Christmas parade will be held next Saturday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m., starting at the Broadmoor High School parking lot on Goodwood Boulevard. Those who go are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item for the Southeast Ministries food pantry.
