All Red Affair

The All Red Affair, hosted by Family Service of Greater Baton Rouge, is happening tomorrow night, Nov. 14, at the Capitol Park Welcome Center. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the gala features live music and live and silent auctions. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the theme by coming in red or black dress. Figure Drawing 101

The LSU Museum of Art is hosting an adult art class next Thursday, Nov. 20, at 6 p.m. in the museum’s gallery at the Shaw Center. The class was inspired by the museum’s current exhibit, “LeRoy Neiman: Action!” Two LSU students will instruct participants on drawing live figures. Deadline to vote for $25,000 next week

In honor of our 25th anniversary in September, inRegister is giving five local nonprofits $5,000 each for a total donation of $25,000. The deadline to vote is next week! If you haven’t cast your vote yet, click here to do so. Individuals may only vote once, and votes must be cast online by Wednesday, Nov. 19. The five nonprofits with the most votes will be announced as winners in inRegister’s January issue. inRegister couldn’t think of a better way to express gratitude to its readers and the community members and organizations that make Baton Rouge a better place.
