Pottery making class

If you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty, you can learn a new skill. LSU is offering a basic wheel throwing class during the month of February that will focus on making functional pieces such as bowls, cups and vases. The leisure classes are open to the public, do not require university admission, and are not offered for any type of class credit. The class will be held every Thursday from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Feb. 19 through April 2. Other classes are available, too such as guitar, Tai Chi Chuan and boating. Check out a complete list here.
