Film on John James Audubon to debut in Baton Rouge

A new documentary about legendary bird artist and naturalist John James Audubon will premiere at Cinemark Perkins Rowe on Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 7:30 p.m. Audubon: The Film features Baton Rouge and St. Francisville locations where Audubon painted portions of his most famous work, The Birds of America, and numerous local experts on painting, art history, ornithology and conservation. Directed by two-time Academy Award nominee Al Reinert, the film will run in Baton Rouge for one night only as part of a five-city showing of the production.
