For over 20 years, the Capital Area CASA Association has been dedicated to providing support for children of all ages, aiming to help these children reach safe and permanent homes. The organization’s annual Casas for CASA playhouse fundraiser has given some lucky children a small home away from home, in the form of luxury playhouses. This year is no different, and the 2016 playhouse raffle winner will be announced this Sunday, August 14.

To kickoff the end of the 22nd annual fundraiser, the Capital Area CASA Association is hosting a Kids Day at the Mall of Louisiana on August 14, from noon until 5 p.m. The event is free and will include entertainment, activities and informational booths on children’s health and safety. Families and children of all ages are encouraged to attend.

The winning raffle ticket for the 2016 CASA playhouse will be drawn at 5 p.m.
