BRSO presents soprano Renée Fleming at the River Center Friday
In one of the most anticipated performances of the year, BRSO will continue the 14th season of the Irene W. and C.B. Pennington Foundation Great Performers in Concert series by welcoming world-renowned soprano Renée Fleming to the River Center stage this Friday, May 13.
Winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Classical Vocal Solo and recipient of the National Medal of Arts, America’s highest honor for an individual artist, Fleming has long been making her mark as one of the world’s most talented vocalists. Gracing opera stages and concert halls, talk shows and red carpets, Fleming has also hosted a variety of TV and radio broadcasts like the Metropolitan Opera’s Live in HD series and Live from the Lincoln Center on PBS. In 2014, she became the first classical artist to sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl.
Tickets to the 8 p.m. show—as well as special ticket packages that include a pre-concert reception—are available by calling (225) 383-0500 or by visiting tickets.brso.org.
