The Bella Bowman Foundation hosted its family event “Bella’s Royal Celebration” at the Renaissance Hotel on September 10. The foundation aims to honor the memory of the young Bella Bowman through fundraising for pediatric cancer research and providing education to families suffering from cancer. By planting the values of “courage, belief, strength, and faith,” this event encouraged young people to be superheroes themselves through acts of kindness. Between performances by Theatre Baton Rouge and visits from princesses and superheroes, guests helped to make cards and comfort packages for families at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.
