With LSU football season just around the corner, you can bet that 225 has been one step ahead of the game. So to level the playing field, InRegister’s sister magazine will be letting the public take a sneak peak at its LSU-themed August issue next Thursday, July 28, at The Rum House.

From 6 to 8 p.m., guests can enjoy complimentary tacos and passed hors d’oeuvres with the restaurant’s island-themed drink specials, all while while football highlights from seasons past play on a projector screen in a stadium seating area.

The event is free and open to the public aged 21 and older, but special VIP tickets and tables are also available. Single VIP tickets include access to a private VIP area with complimentary rum-tasting samples, hors d’oeuvres and a separate cash bar. VIP tables include a variety of different appetizers, a server for the table and cocktail pitchers of rum punch, sangria or margarita.
