Holiday Pie
1 1/2 Tsp Fig Butter
3 sprigs of thyme
.5 oz lemon juice
1.5 oz Aperol or for non-alcoholic apertif (Wilfreds Bitter Apertif or Lyres Italian Spritz)
Top with Sparkling wine or non-alcoholic sparkling and an orange peel or slice
Combine the first 4 ingredients with ice in a shaker and shake.
Strain and finish with Sparkling wine or non-alcoholic sparkling.
Garnish with cinnamon stick and orange peel in a wine glass.
