Girl Scouts Louisiana East is looking for energetic and dedicated individuals to become council adult education learning facilitators. These facilitators specialize in one or more areas including safety, leadership, and the outdoors. After training, volunteer facilitators are asked to teach at least five sessions yearly. The Walk to Defeat ALS at BREC’s Forest Community Park is more than just a mile trek. It’s an opportunity to unite and raise money for a great cause: to support research into a cure for Lou Gehrig’s disease.
