Signature Wedding: Alex Andre and Alex Cook
April 21, 2018
They say that if it rains on a couple’s wedding day, they are blessed with good fortune in their marriage. If the superstition holds true, Alex and Alex were set up for a lifetime of bliss on their stormy big day last April.
“From the beginning of our budding friendship, to our dating years and now to our marriage, our relationship has been filled with nothing but a wealth of love, luck and happiness,” says Alex. “Our wedding day did not disappoint! To this day, we still dream about that queso fountain. And Social Bites of Ruston made the cake bar of my dreams come to life. Instead of one cake, why not have six?”
And while the storm raged outside the couple’s rustic venue, Alex explains that a little bit of water couldn’t stop the celebration.
“The rain held off until the reception was really underway and then the sky fell,” she recalls. “But, our smiles never faded, the music never stopped and the storm definitely didn’t rain on our parade!”
