Tay James Decor & Gifts is hosting a “Night of Shopping and Fun” today, Thursday, June 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Attendees can enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres while they shop, and everything in the store will be 20% off. A Rodan and Fields consultant will also be present.

Dixon Smith Interiors will hold its annual Warehouse Tent Sale this Friday and Saturday, June 10 and 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale features upholstery, case goods, lighting and accessories, with some prices marked down as much as 80% off MSRP. This Saturday, June 11, the Red Stick Farmers Market will continue its Summer Fresh Fest with “Corn and Squash-tastic” day. Miss LSU-USA Emilie Hebert will share her passion for healthy eating as she teams up with Chef Celeste Gill inside the Main Street Marketplace to demonstrate a recipe using fresh squash and corn at 10 a.m. Several varieties of squash, from patty pan to zephyr to sunburst, will be available for purchase, and kids can get their faces painted between 9 and 11 a.m.
